20. Security Policy

INTRODUCTION

Aluminij Industries (hereinafter “Aluminij” or “we”) is committed to ensuring the safety and security of its employees, visitors, assets and operations while fully respecting the human rights, dignity and privacy of all individuals.

All security activities, including the collection, use and processing of personal information, are carried out lawfully, proportionately and solely for legitimate security purposes, in accordance with applicable laws and relevant standards.

 

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Security Policy defines the basic principles and responsibilities related to the protection of people, assets, facilities and operations of Aluminij at its locations in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, visitors and third parties entering Aluminij’s premises or controlled areas.

 

CORE PRINCIPLES

Aluminij is committed to:

  • conducting security activities in a lawful, professional and transparent manner,
  • respecting the human rights, dignity and integrity of all individuals,
  • ensuring that security measures do not involve discrimination, harassment or inappropriate conduct,
  • complying with all applicable laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina and relevant international standards.

 

SECURITY PERSONNEL

Security duties are performed by designated employees or contracted security providers.

 

Security personnel:

  • are trained and instructed on human rights, legal authority and professional conduct,
  • treat all persons with respect and fairness,
  • comply with applicable laws, internal procedures and relevant industry standards,
  • use only proportionate and lawful measures in the performance of their duties.

 

ACCESS CONTROL

To protect people and company assets, Aluminij implements access control measures, including:

  • inspection and recording of all entries to and exits from the factory premises,
  • identification of employees, visitors and vehicles in accordance with established procedures,
  • granting access only to authorized persons and for approved purposes,
  • conducting all inspections in a respectful and professional manner.

 

SITE PATROLS AND MONITORING

Security personnel conduct regular patrols of the factory premises and other relevant locations.

 

During patrols:

  • the general security condition of the site is monitored,
  • potential risks, deficiencies or irregularities are identified,
  • observations are documented in written or electronic records.

 

RECORDS AND REPORTING

Aluminij maintains appropriate security records, including:

  • access and exit logs,
  • patrol records,
  • descriptions of site conditions,
  • descriptions of identified deficiencies, incidents or irregularities,
  • corrective actions taken or recommended.

 

All records are maintained solely for security purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.

 

COMPLIANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY

All employees, contractors and third parties are required to comply with this policy. Any breach of security rules may result in appropriate measures in accordance with Aluminij’s internal regulations and applicable law.

 

POLICY REVIEW

This Security Policy is reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to ensure continued compliance with legal requirements, industry practices and the Aluminij’s operational needs.
