As part of this approach, Aluminij owns an exhibition space dedicated to that purpose; the Aluminij Gallery.

Both enrich the cultural life of the city residents, while offering a special experience for visitors and allowing them to enjoy art and other events in unique surroundings. Aluminij wholeheartedly contributes toward the educational and scientific institutions of the city of Mostar, the region and of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The benefits of Aluminij’s community involvement are both social and economic. Aluminij involves institutions of higher education at the University of Mostar and other universities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina in its projects, thus encouraging the academic community to innovate and develop new ideas. This involvement with education also helps motivate young people to build careers in science and technical engineering post university degrees. This approach has brought many success stories and the value of the company’s contribution has been recognized through numerous awards.

On June 2020, the University of Mostar has signed a Memorandum of cooperation with Aluminij Industries d.o.o. and M.T. Abraham Group. Rector of the University in Mostar, Prof. Dr. Zoran Tomić and Mr. Amir Gross Kabiri, Director of Aluminij Industries d.o.o. and Chairman of M.T. Abraham Group, have signed a Memorandum of understanding in order to achieve a common interest in advancing scientific research.

The signed memorandum will promote academic cooperation through networking with Israeli universities that implement similar programs and activities. Cooperation will be realized through the exchange of staff, academics, researchers and students. The memorandum includes the organization and implementation of joint research projects, mutual exchange of information on research results, organization and implementation of undergraduate and graduate studies as well as joint postgraduate studies.

At the heart of Mostar, within the factory area, there are over 400,000 m² of green areas, including more than 180 different plant species. This verdant oasis stands in contrast to the industrial surroundings, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and manufactured landscapes. The gardens are a testament to the Aluminij’s commitment to environmental sustainability and urban greenery, providing a serene escape for workers and visitors alike.
